Once upon a time, there lived a bandit, named Bob White. He foraged the hills and creeks around the farm for game and looked for loot and treasure. Bob was a 'likeable' fellow even with his dishonest occupation. He would hide in the forest and only come out when he heard the all clear call from one or more of his traveling companions. (Press the Bobwhite Quail Button to hear Bob White's all clear call). Ol Bob had many adventures rambling on and around our farm for many years with many close calls between him and the local sheriff. At one time one of his old getaway cars could be found in the woods and often you can find signs of his abandoned campsites. Bob is probably no longer still with us, or is he? Many a night in the vineyard his call can still be heard. Is that Bob? Is it his namesake? Who would like to call back and find out? Feel free to visit our vineyard some time and walk the grounds, exploring for Ol' Bob.
Our family farm shares in the rich agricultural traditions that surround us as well as a haven for one of natures finest upland game birds, the Bobwhite Quail. An animal with a long Kansas history and a frequent occupant of the vineyard.
