About the Role

About the Role

Applications are now open for the Head of Music position at ÌÇÐÄVlog. This is a full-time Middle Leadership position commencing in Term 1, 2026. With scope across Kindergarten to Year 12, this is a wonderful opportunity to continue the growth of Music excellence across our College.

Overseeing a team of 20 staff including, teachers, instrumental tutors and administrative support, the Head of Music is responsible for overseeing the academic music program, coordinating the co-curricular music program, co-ordinating choral and instrumental ensembles, orchestral groups and bands, overseeing the peripatetic program and promoting music education and music performance in the College community.

The Head of Music also has the opportunity to be involved in our bi-annual full-length musical production held in our 400 seat College Theatre.

About the Role

This leadership role is designed to support the delivery of our Vision for Community in the Senior School through establishing a sense of belonging, empowerment, and care. It will provide support to the Deputy Principal Community in ensuring the wellbeing and quality pastoral care of students across the Senior School. This is an ongoing full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026.

The Head of Community (7-12) would work alongside the Deputy Principal Community, and in partnership with the Heads of Year, to support all within our community to live out our College Values in a genuine way. They would support the alignment of the College’s behavioural engagement strategies to these Values and to our Code of Conduct.
